リアム・ペインさん死去、チャーリー・プースらが追悼「彼がいないなんて、信じられない」

英ボーイズグループ、ワン・ダイレクションのメンバーとして知られる歌手リアム・ペインさんが現地時間16日（水）、滞在していたアルゼンチン・ブエノスアイレスのホテルの3階バルコニーから転落し、亡くなった。31歳だった。

リアムさんは、ハリー・スタイルズ、ナイル・ホーラン、ルイ・トムリンソン、ゼイン・マリクとともにワン・ダイレクションのメンバーとして活躍。2016年の活動休止後はソロデビューを果たし、これまでQuavo（クエイヴォ）、Zedd（ゼッド）、J. バルヴィンらとコラボ曲を発表した。

リアムさんの訃報に際し、歌手のチャーリー・プースは自身のインスタグラムに、「リアムは本当に親切にしてくれた。彼がいないなんて、信じられない」と投稿。そして若き日の2人を収めた動画をシェアし、「今は物凄く動揺している。どうぞ安らかに」と沈痛な思いを綴った。

2017年に楽曲「Get Low」でコラボしたZeddは、「リアム、安らかに…これが現実なんて、信じられない…とてつもなく打ちのめされている」と追悼。リアムさんの友人のパリス・ヒルトンは、「訃報を耳にし、非常にショックを受けています。彼のご家族、大切な人々に愛を送り、お悔やみ申し上げます」と述べた。

さらに、ラッパーのTy Dolla Sign（タイ・ダラー・サイン）は、リアムさんが死去する2日前に言葉を交わしていたことを明かし、「寂しくなるよ。信じられない」と心を痛めた。
